The Successes of our Film Opening

Having completed our film opening, it seems both logical and appropriate to evaluate the successes of the production process and what could be perhaps better improved upon. In this post I will highlight the aspects of the film production that worked to the greatest deal of effectiveness.
One of the areas that beyond any reasonable doubt, was such a success was the use of our two actors as without them, I feel the piece would have lacked both authenticity and energy to the performance of the characters. Another area of success that I feel worked extremely  effectively throughout the production process was our efficiency as a group that allowed the filming progress to be both rapid and swift whilst still conforming to the plan that we had laid our in our filming schedule. I believe it was our communication as a group that greatly aided us in the speed of our filming as Zach and I communicated together very effectively and were able to work productively a a pair. As Zach was the cameraman and I the director we established a system where I would describe what ideally I desired to be seen or showcased in each shot, and then we would confer together before attempting the execution of the shot with the aim of the filming to remain loyal to our early planning in the form of our storyboard and script. It was this systematic approach that I feel worked especially well on the days of filming as any problems were dutifully overcome and any setbacks were conquered with relative ease and a general feeling of calm and enjoyment in what we were doing ensued rather than a panicked rush to accomplish the filming.
In conclusion; I feel that it wass mainly down to our committed approach to our filming that allowed the group to work with relative ease, minimal stress and great comfort and I think that the effectiveness of our teamwork is evident for all to see in the final, finished film opening as I am personally extremely very proud at what the group has achieeved and accomplished.
